Jaywon Reportedly Not Renewing Contract with Kennis Music

The singer's contract with Kennis Music would end soon and he is said to be looking at moving forward

After working with Kennis Music for over three years, singer James Oluwajuwonlo Edahi better known as Jaywon is reported to have plans of leaving the label once his contracts is up.

He is said to have three months left on his contract and he won't be signing a new deal with the label. Jaywon was signed in 2009 after his performance at the annual Kennis Music Eater Fiesta and has released two albums on the label.

Davido Signs Another Artiste to HKN

HKN music is branching out and has signed it’s first act outside of Nigeria, from Ghana.

The new artiste on the HKN rostser is her Ghanaian rapper by the moniker of DeeKay and has previously worked with Davido on a track, “High Fever” which dropped sometime last year.
Then signed to Impeccable Entertainment, it seems the young Ghanaian rapper and Davido have been buttressing great rapport ever since then and that has turned into a great business deal. The HKN honcho disclosed this in a new video he posted on Youtube.

Ghanaians angry with Chris Brown’s love for Wizkid

Controversial American singer Chris Brown took over Accra sports stadium where he put on a show that both wowed and disparaged the crowd.
While many were pleased with his immense talent and stage craft, many criticized him for rolling and smoking weed live on stage. In fact, some said they were disgusted that the American singer openly urged young Ghanaians to start smoking joint.
But the biggest disappointment expressed was that during his mega performance, Brown pulled Nigeria’s music superstar Wizkid on stage. This infuriated many who claimed that Breezy should’ve brought on stage a Ghanaian musician and not a Nigerian.
And to rub salt to insult, Wizzy quickly posted photos of him on stage in Ghana with Breezy with the following caption:
‘Shutdown GH with tha brother breeeezzzzy last night!!! Ya!’

Murdered Singer, Domino Damoche Is Laid To Rest

The murdered fast rising singer was buried in Badagry yesterday Saturday March 2nd, two days after he was gunned down in front of his school, Lagos State University. Damoche had already boarded a bus in front of the school when his attackers asked him to get down. He was shot twice in the head.

The 26 year old is survived by his mum and siblings. Rest in Peace!
