Comedienne Princess Robbed!

Comedienne Damilola Adekoya popularly known as Princess was this morning Monday, February 14, 2011 robbed by 10 armed men at about 6.30am at her Iwaya, Lagos home. The bandits allegedly made away with phones and other undisclosed valuables. No one was hurt. Princess says she was home with her friends, sister and niece at the time of the incident.

A shaken Princess who spoke to NET on the phone disclosed that the robbers told her not to panic and promised they would not harm her. ‘They were respectful, they said they like me and that they won’t hurt me but I should give them their share of the Gulder Ultimate Search money’, Princess says.

According to Ms. Adekoya, the gang apologized after they had stripped the household of tangibles.

Members of the Nigerian Police Force have since the unfortunate occurrence swung to action after visiting Princess’ apartment upon receiving a distress call.


Wizkid Apologizes To UK Fans

Fast rising Nigerian act, Wizkid has apologized to his UK fans for not turning up at the ‘Basketmouth Lord of the Ribs After Party‘ show which took place on Sunday, February 13, 2010.

Wizkid’s failure to meet up for the show was allegedly caused by a delay in his travel documents.

Hours before the show kicked off, the young artiste explained reasons for his absence from the Basketmouth show through the popular video sharing website, YouTube.

…due to circumstances beyond my power, i wont be performing. My team and I tried everything possible to get my documents out on time but a lot of things happened…we were unable to get it out. I’m truly sorry, most especially to Baskemouth for every inconvenience I’ve caused him‘, Wizkid explained.

The yet-to-debut artiste is signed to Banky W‘s EME record label imprint and has in recent times gained much popularity with the release of his commercial singles ‘Holla at your boy‘ and ‘Tease me‘.

Asa goes “edgy” in “why cant we” video shoot

Asa is definitely not relaxing at the moment, or should we rather say babe is not smiling. Already as we speak, she is on tour in france and that is huge as focus from the international scene would be on her.
And so she and her crew hit location for the shoot of “why cant we”, one of the songs off her sophomore album, “beautiful imperfection”.

D’Banj, Don Jazzy Move Into Lekki Mansion

Mo’Hits head honchos D’Banj and Don Jazzy have moved out of the ‘Mo’hits Mansion’ in Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos, into a new property around Lekki Phase 1 also in Lagos.

Our sources say that the pair moved into the Lekki property late last year, leaving junior crew members Wande Coal and D’Prince behind in their Maryland residence.

Friends, partners and collaborators, Dbanj and Don Jazzy have been inseparable since they met at JJC’s Backbone music many years back.

With fortune smiling on them by the day, the music stars have solidified their relationship, looking out for one another and building one of the most successful record labels of this time.

Although we are yet to confirm, our informants are saying they bought the Lekki property – and that it is every inch befitting of their celebrity status, compared to the Maryland apartment, which was criticized by many visitors
