While Speaking at his 66th birthday colloquium, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, blast the former President of Nigeria “Olusegun Obasanjo” over the letters he wrote to the president of Nigeria “Muhammadu Buhari”
Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Tuesday said President Muhammadu Buhari was on a journey of redirecting Nigeria to the path of greatness.
The former Governor of Lagos State made the disclosure during the colloquium in commemoration of his 66th birthday.
He said though the APC met several challenges on assumption of power, the Buhari-led government was on the voyage of “retooling Nigeria, re-inventing Nigeria and re-directing Nigeria.”
He, however, noted that “It’s not an easy course to embark upon.”
Tinubu also cautioned Nigerians against accepting PDP’s apology.
The APC chieftain further berated former President, Olusegun Obasanjo over his letter criticising the Buhari-led Federal Government.
Tinubu described Obasanjo as a “bad belle” letter writer.

Your Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Vice President and my co-conspirator, Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo; our dear governor of Lagos State, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. I have personally witnessed your good work in the last three years that has brought tremendous progress and development to the state.
Your Excellencies, the various governors, all of the governors from across the country. All the deputy governors, particularly Idiat Onabule (Lagos Deputy Governor) for her friendship and collaboration with our governor. I thank you my dear wife, Oluremi Tinubu. Thank you for tolerating me, as if you have a choice; the Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly. I can see some of my very faithful friends and compatriots over the years like Governor Rochas Okorocha, my friend Aliko Dangote, Jim Ovia and Oba Otudeko. I’m just lost for words.
We have to put our heads together, believing in ourselves that we are going to do it. We can give our people the best through the competent hands that we have.
I have a prepared speech, but I am not going to dwell on that. Life is not without challenges. Our logo is broom, we come together, you have a Nigeria focusing against terrorism, against corruption and to promote economic revival of the country.
We have faced challenges in the last three years. We came in with a lot of hope and enthusiasm as APC leaders. We gave our people hope; we believed in Nigeria and in ourselves, thinking we can change Nigeria for good and we are still going to do it. Life is nothing without challenges. Our logo is broom bound together. This symbolizes a united Nigeria against terrorism, corruption and revival of the economy.

Over 12,000 athletes from primary and secondary schools across the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State featured at the 2nd Akwa Ibom Youth Sports Festival for primary and secondary school pupils. The event which featured 23 sports for secondary schools and 14 for primary schools which was declared open by the state Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel while Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung was in attendance as a Special Guest.
This edition of the Games has a prize money of N18million up for grabs for the first three positions.
The commissioner, after thanking other Local Government Areas for their participation, charged them to put more effort and start preparing now for the next edition. The 2nd Akwa Ibom Youth sports festival 2018 - Oruk Anam Wins
The Grand finale of the second edition/2018 Akwa Ibom Youth sports festivals, took place at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium, Uyo, with Oruk Anam Local Government area emerging the overall best. Presenting the overall best trophy to the Council Chairman of Oruk Anam LGA, Hon Prince Ubong Idiong, the commissioner for Women affairs, Dr Glory Edet, who represented the Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr Udom Emmanuel at the closing ceremonies, commended Oruk Anam Local Government Area for retaining the trophy.
Over 12,000 athletes from primary and secondary schools across the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State featured at the 2nd Akwa Ibom Youth Sports Festival for primary and secondary school pupils. The event which featured 23 sports for secondary schools and 14 for primary schools which was declared open by the state Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel while Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung was in attendance as a Special Guest.
This edition of the Games has a prize money of N18million up for grabs for the first three positions.
The commissioner, after thanking other Local Government Areas for their participation, charged them to put more effort and start preparing now for the next edition. In his remarks, after receiving the trophy, the Chairman of Oruk Anam LGA, Prince Ubong Idiong, thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel for creating a forum where School Children meet to showcase their sports talents. He expressed happiness and appreciated His School Children for their dedication.
Prince Idiong stated that emerging again as the overall best is not a surprise, but a result of proper preparations for the festivals. The school Children from Oruk Anam expressed their happiness to the State Governor, Oruk Anam LG Chairman and the Local organising committee for making possible for them to display their talents. In one accord, they chanted songs of victory with great enthusiasm and satisfactory display. It could be recalled that Oruk Anam Local government won the first edition of the festival hosted in 2017.

Obesere releases new album, ‘Ojurawonlo’
Fuji icon, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, fondly called the Vice Chancellor of Entertainment has release another Fuji album entitled ‘Ojurawonlo’
Alhaji Obesere, as expected began the year on a very good note. He has been in Europe touring different cities in the UK and Ireland and has got sold out shows.
Meanwhile, on his latest album to be released, an insider in his team had hinted Tribune Online that he had done a very good job on the yet-to-be released album.

Alhaji Obesere, who recently signed a multi-million dollar record deal with US based label, Freeworld Music, also spoke on the new album.
According to him, “I thank God for the success of this new album. It took a while before I am convinced that the people will love it. I have never disappointed and I will not. The people deserve the best and I will give it to them anytime anyday. Trust me,” he said.
FIFA World Cup Trophy Finally Arrives Nigeria [VIDEO]
The original FIFA World Cup, which will be handed over to the captain of the victorious team inside the 80,000 –capacity Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on 15th July 2018, as prize for conquering the world at the 21st FIFA World Cup finals in Russia, will arrive in Nigeria today. The trophy which is on a tour of 91 cities in 51 countries across six continents before the finals, will touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard a chartered flight at 11am.
Officials have said that the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung; the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olusade Adesola; President of Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick; NFF Vice Presidents Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko and; NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi will have the first view of the trophy on the aircraft before it leaves the airport. From the airport, the trophy, accompanied by several top officials of Coca-Cola’s Global Office and Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, including Coca-Cola Nigeria Managing Director Bhupendra Suri and Managing Director of Nigeria Bottling Company Georgios Polymenakos, will make its way to the Transcorp Hilton Hotel for a press conference. The iconic prize of world football will then be on its way to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, where President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) will have a feel of the trophy and deliver a welcome remark, and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Dalung and other members of the Federal Executive Council will view the trophy as from 4pm. Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited officials have confirmed that there will be a dinner at the Banquet Hall of the State House for invited guests, and on Thursday, a whole –day consumer viewing of the trophy is planned for the Old Parade Ground, Abuja. The trophy and its accompanying team will then fly into Lagos on Friday morning, to be received by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and members of his cabinet as well as NFF President Amaju Pinnick and NFF 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi. A dinner is planned for the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island the same evening, while there will be a consumer viewing of the coveted diadem at the Tafawa Balewa Square on Saturday, before the trophy departs Nigerian shores in the evening of Saturday. This is the fourth Global Tour by the FIFA World Cup Trophy, and the third time it would be visiting Nigeria.

Today during the burial of the mother of Alex Mbata at Owerri North, Archbishop Obinna admonished people to vote wisely. He complained about bad roads in the state insisting that despite the ministry of happiness Imolites cannot be happy with bad road. An APC chieftain took microphone from him to defend the government. A PDP follower also came and called for change from APC misrule. Jeff and his thugs rushed to the alter to take the microphone from the Archbishop who withdrew to his seat and priests and Christian fathers struggled to keep them out. Uche Nwosu and Nkechi Okorocha sat there enjoying the spectacle without stopping Jeff as Jeff pointed at Archbishop in the face and rained insults on him as the service went on.

Davido Falls On Stage in Kagali, Rwanda
African Top notch Entertainer Davido had a bad moment on his world tour themed 30billion Tour as he feel on stage while performing In Rwanda. Davido describes this in a recent woe of his in Rwanda.
